Followed by a conference session hosted by our partners SASS and a networking lunch, IMPA Special Ambassador for Sustainability and Chairman of IMPA SAVE, Mikael Karlsson, will head a group of thought leaders and sustainability instigators looking at sustainability not as a disruptor, but rather an opportunity for the maritime supply chain to play a critical role in the industry’s future pathway. The agenda will feature a debate to explore the wider approach to sustainability to look at lifecycle and the role procurement and supply chain play in managing waste and ensuring a holistic approach to sustainable buying is adopted. It will also feature a mix of presentations that will see IMPA’s sustainability team guide procurement managers and supply chain professionals through the challenge of understanding the new demands sustainability presents. A must for everyone in the supply chain – shipping companies and ship management, as well as suppliers and manufacturers.
