IMPA London is back. Let's celebrate the opportunity!
Updated: 4 days ago
Networking in person again, a brand new conference, multiple side events, alongside the dazzling London Christmas lights and mince pies... It’s a one-time special event!
After discussions with stakeholders, the venue and industry partners, IMPA and its event organisers have announced this week that IMPA London will return as a one-off Christmas special on 14th and 15th December 2021.
The annual event has been known to attract visitors from 75 different countries, although the majority of stakeholders and attendees are based in the UK. The organisers are hoping that the one-off December event will provide a unique opportunity to gather in London and celebrate being together again.
Despite the rapid progress being made with the UK vaccination programme, the organisers and stakeholders felt that the original 2021 September dates did not allow enough time for the event to be a success.
Nicole Roberts, Event Director, said:
"IMPA London is about bringing people together and it has such a global feel, we really want to see it back to its best or as near as possible and London in December with the Christmas lights and everything that goes with the festive season is going to be special."
IMPA London 2021 will take place as usual at the QEII Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster and will once again provide the events’ two-day exhibition and conference, and our enthusiastic organisers are promising to make it special for everyone.
As well as an all-new sustainability conference, the event will feature workshops, presentations and meetings covering the latest developments in maritime procurement and supply chain.
The event will also feature a new GREEN ZONE Exhibition Area to showcase companies that are offering environmentally-friendly alternatives for the maritime sector.
The IMPA SAVE initiative will see many of the stakeholder groups gather to present their work, and there will be many forums and demonstrations around sustainability. Finally, for those that don’t mind a brisk early run around the park, our iconic Sustainability Run will be back for the third year in a row!
The organisers will be providing numerous meeting rooms and facilities for stakeholders to use for meetings and discussions and there will be a wonderful opportunity to host larger social gatherings with a distinctly festive feel to them.
In the next months, the team will provide many more updates on developments, speakers, topics, and more. Keen to stay in touch?
